Associate Degree preferred Current Illinois Pharmacy technician certification required or CPHT accreditation preferred. Background Previous experience in a call center environment, healthcare office or corporate setting, healthcare insurance provider or pharmacy is highly desirable. Organization and problem solving skills to handle multi faceted patient conversations and properly address patients needs Knowledge of reimbursement and healthcare billing is desired for the collections of receivables. Knowledge of private payers, pharmacy benefits, medical benefits, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, alternate funding resources, and reimbursement processes. Knowledge of pharmacy operations.
