• Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices of physicians and other health practitioners running smoothly.

• Duties include answering telephones, greeting patients, updating and filing patient’s medical records, filling out insurance forms, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments.

• Clinical duties may include taking medical histories and recording vital signs, blood draws, explaining treatment procedures to patients, preparing patients for examination and assisting the physician. Previous knowledge of wound care nad other duties as assigned. 

• May arrange examining room instruments and equipment, purchase and maintain supplies and equipment, keep waiting and examining rooms neat and clean.

• Must have good understanding of laboratory safety rules and adhere to OSHA requirements.

• Supervises tasks performed by LPN’s, CNAs and other health care workers.
• Provide direct patient care and make plans for care of patients.
• May perform and analyze tests, dispense medications and interpret patient’s medical history.
• Instruct patients proper health management practices
• Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician’s orders by assessing the patient’s condition, giving injections, administering medications, instruct patients in self-care  as well as instructing family members.

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions. May be expected to perform some clerical duties relating to the department. Requires 3+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a manager or supervisor. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. May also provide inbound and outbound call support and best in class customer service to patients, physicians and physician’s office staff, who utilize Pharmacy Solutions for benefit investigation and prescription procurement services. This role will also be responsible for securing patient's financial responsibility for their medications and assuring appropriate education materials are provided to the patient as requested. Key Responsibilities: Available to take inbound calls from patients, physicians, and other customers and make outbound calls in a professional and customer friendly manner Capture patient specific clinical and financial information in a thorough and accurate manner that assures the most effective and appropriate processing of the patient’s medication. Provide overview of product coverage to patient, including insurance benefit coverage. Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Associate Degree preferred Current Illinois Pharmacy technician certification required or CPHT accreditation preferred. Background Previous experience in a call center environment, healthcare office or corporate setting, healthcare insurance provider or pharmacy is highly desirable. Organization and problem solving skills to handle multi faceted patient conversations and properly address patients needs Knowledge of reimbursement and healthcare billing is desired for the collections of receivables. Knowledge of private payers, pharmacy benefits, medical benefits, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, alternate funding resources, and reimbursement processes. Knowledge of pharmacy operations.

Our client specializes in oncology treatment and is looking to fill a 3 month temporary position. Hours are 7:30AM to 5:30.

Industrial supply client is looking for an Occupational Health Nurse.

Will  work under the supervision of physical therapist or  a health care team that includes doctors, occupational therapists, and social workers.
 They use physical treatment procedures to help improve mobility and relieve pain and disability caused by disease or injury.

Ventilator experience is a must

Must be willing to work in a private duty setting
